Richard DeMarte is a New Yorker and one of only a handful of Junior Fishing Pros worldwide, has a deep love and affinity for fishing and conservation of our precious waterways. At 12 years old, ovr just the last 3 years Richard has landed, tagged and released well over 250 striped bass that weighed up to 29 pounds - and has also fished many other well known fishing locations including the Eastern shores of Florida as well as the deep blue seas of the Hawaiian Islands.

Richard continually receives recognition inside and outside the fishing and boating industries and appears in countless newspapers, fishing and boating magazines and web-sites.  He also already has a fair number of corporate sponsorships under his belt – he is a Junior Pro-staffer for Mako, Tech Tackle, Sufix (one of the largest worldwide fishing line manufacturers) as well as the NSBA (National Striped Bass Association) - and he is also a "Shakespeare Select Angler" inductee.  Last but not least he is also a writer for Striped Bass Magazine – where his 1-2 page articles have appear in every issue.
