The Fishing Funament will be held at Harbour Towne Marina in Dania Beach. Harbour Towne Marina is conveniently located on the Dania Cutoff Canal, at ICW, just south of the Port Everglades Inlet. Harbour Towne Marina provides quick and easy access whether in the mood for the quiet relaxation of a leisurely cruise up the New River, lufting sails in an evening breeze, the deep sea excitement of landing the "big one" or diving among the coral reefs.
Directions by car: One mile South of Fort Lauderdale International Airport. Take US-1 South to Dania Beach Boulevard. Proceed East to Gulfstream Road, turn left. Approximately 1/2 mile to Harbour Towne Marina.
Directions by boat: Harbour Towne Marina (26°03.28'N, 80°07.50'W) Intracoastal Waterway Channel Marker 35. West on Dania Cutoff Canal, The Marina is 2 miles South of Port Everglades Inlet with no bridges.

The Hutchinson Island Marriott Beach Resort & Marina is a 200 acre island resort with 274 deluxe accommodations located in Stuart, Florida. The resort features a 77-slip marina with access to some of the best sailfish fishing in the world! In addition to sailfish, the offshore waters teem with a wide variety of game fish. Dolphin fishing is in full swing in June, and strikes from blue and white marlin won't be uncommon. On the reefs and along any rips, kingfish and wahoo will be active. Expect bottom- and wreck fishing to yield snappers, groupers, amberjack, permit and African pompano. June is also key snook time, with excellent catch-and-release opportunities in and around inlets. River and ICW action should be excellent with trout, redfish and even some tarpon. In short, there will be fish-catching opportunities for everyone, whether they fish inshore or offshore.
Directions by car: From the North: From Florida Turnpike going South, take exit 133. Off the exit, go straight. That is Martin Downs Boulevard. Martin Downs Boulevard will turn into Monterey Road. Monterey will dead end into East Ocean Boulevard. At East Ocean, take a right. The Resort will be about 2 miles on the right hand side, immediately after you come onto Hutchinson Island.
From the South: I-95 North toward W Palm Beach. Take ramp right for SR-76 East toward Stuart. Turn right onto SE Indian St. Turn left onto US-1 North / SR-5 North / SE Federal Hwy. Bear right onto SR-714 / SE Monterey Rd. Turn right onto SR-A1A / SE Ocean Blvd.

Directions by boat: Hutchinson Island Marriott (27° 12.500'N / 080° 11.050'W) is at mile marker 985 (causeway) between markers 228 and 229. Go south of Earnest Lyons Bridge. VHF Channel 16.

Directions by car: Take U.S. 1 South into the Florida Keys to Islamorada. Heading south (U.S. 1/Overseas Highway), World Wide Sportsman is on the right side of the highway at mile marker 81.5.
Directions by boat: There are two boat ramps that can be utilized to launch your boat. Indian Key Fill Public Boat Ramp (gravel, make-shift ramp) is located at mile marker 79.5, bayside. World Wide Sportsman is a little more than a mile to the north, in Little Basin (on chart). Post Card Inn Public Boat Ramp is located on the north side of Whale Harbor Bridge at mile marker 84. After launching, go under the bridge to bay side and take the ICW south to Little Basin (on chart) and World Wide Sportsman.

The small town of Fort Myers Beach is located on Estero Island in southwest Florida Fish Tale is a full-service marina offering ethanol-free fuel (dockside), power hook-ups, pump out facilities, live shrimp, a variety of frozen bait and chum. The marina is conveniently located within walking distance of shopping, dining establishments and more.
Directions by car: If traveling from the north, take I-75 South to exit 131 Ð SW Florida International Airport/Cape Coral. Turn right onto Daniels Parkway, then left on Ben C. Pratt Parkway. Continue on to Gladiolus Drive. Merge onto County Road 869, S. Summerlin Road via the ramp on left to Ft. Myers Beach/Sanibel/S. Captiva. Take the San Carlos Boulevard Ramp to Florida 865. Turn left on Florida 865/San Carlos Blvd. Continue onto Estero Blvd. Fish Tale Marina will be on the left.
If traveling from the south, take I-75 North to exit 116 - Bonita Beach/Gulf Beaches. Head west (left turn) on Bonita Beach Road SE. Continue on to Hickory Boulevard. Make a slight right onto County Road 865/Estero Blvd. Fish Tale Marina will be on the right.
Directions by boat: Fish Tale Marina (26° 24 .843'N / 081° 53 .579'W) is a short 15-minute boat ride from the Gulf of Mexico via Big Carlos Pass. The bascule bridge at Big Carlos Pass has a 23' clearance and opens on demand between the hours of 8am and 7pm. Note: The green #1 marker at the entrance to Big Carlos Pass is located about 3/4 mile SW of the pass at 26° 23 .154N / 081° 53 .618W. The access canal to Fish-Tale Marina is located at green marker #59 in Estero Bay.
